During his time in the MPA Program, Jake has also served as a Teaching Assistant for POLS 1101 and 1101E, interned with the Gwinnett County Office of Economic Development, and completed the Carl Vinson Institute Professional Skills Program.

Prior to his time at UGA, Jake graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. During his tenure in Alabama, he also participated in public service activities and positions including interning for the Offices of Congresswoman Terri Sewell, working as a Rural Carrier Associate for the United States Postal Service, conducting research on county breakdowns of voting patterns for Alabama’s Department of Political Science, and providing ESOL services at Shelton State Community College.

While not studying or working, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and adding to his vinyl collection.
