Our MPA degree is available through evening courses at both the Athens campus and at the UGA Gwinnett Campus in Lawrenceville.  The UGA MPA program has an outstanding reputation for academic excellence.  In fact, the most recent survey from U.S. News & World Reports (2023 edition) ranks our MPA among the the third highest nationally among over 250 programs.  We are now seeking outstanding students who wish to advance their careers in public service by earning your MPA.

You’ll find MPA courses with the same faculty and resources as those at our home campus in Athens, but delivered at our convenient Gwinnett campus just off I-85, only 15 minutes from both downtown Duluth and Lawrenceville. Parking is on location and free. Most classes are small (about 15-20 students) and allow students to pursue an advanced degree while continuing to work full time. Two evening classes per semester (including summer) are offered at our Gwinnett campus. All MPA students may register for classes at either the Athens or Gwinnett campus to complete the program. Part-time students typically earn their MPA in 2.5 to 3 years.
