The Verona Spring Study Abroad program is an 11-week program (January-March) that introduces students to the study of global issues by exposing them to diverse topics in an international setting in which their perspectives may be broadened. Courses are offered in a number of disciplines including globalization, the international economy, legislative systems, conflict, and socio-cultural, economic, and political development. Classes are taught on the block system (2.75 hours per day, Monday – Thursday for three weeks). Students must register for the 4 courses that are offered in the two four week blocks for a total of 12 credit hours. There are multiple culture tours and excursions to Florence, Rome, Venice, Siena, Trieste, and other locations in Northern Italy.
