The SPIA – GLOBIS Partner: Global Studies at Stellenbosch University program is sponsored through the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), however, all majors may apply. It combines four weeks of experiential learning coupled with traditional classroom instruction in the college town of Stellenbosch. The objective of the program is to give students a comprehensive grasp of the issues facing South Africa, as it continues its efforts to create a democratic, fair, and inclusive society in the post-Apartheid era.

Students can choose between three course strands for up to 9 transfer credit hours: Doing Business in South Africa, Sustainability and Community Engagement, and/or Public Health in South Africa.
