UGA’s Master of International Policy (MIP) is SPIA’s professional graduate program offering concentrations in nonproliferation, human security, and energy security.  The program is dedicated to preparing a select group of thoughtful students for careers across a range of US government agencies, international organizations, nonprofits, think tanks, and consultancies.  The MIP’s distinct applied, policy-oriented approach combines instruction from leading international relations scholars and security experts and is enhanced by interaction with government and industry leaders and a variety of experiential opportunities.  Applicants admitted to the MIP program join a community of loyal alumni, current and former policy practitioners, and faculty and staff dedicated to the professional development of future security-policy leaders.
