PhD student, Megan LePere-Schloop recently delivered presentation entitled “Recommendations on Performance Appraisals to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department” to the leadership at the ACC Police Department. The presentation was based on a report that Megan wrote and developed with Professors Brian Williams and Rob Christensen. Chief Lumpkin presented a challenge coin to Megan and her co-authors in recognitions of a job well done. The project’s purpose is to assist the ACCPD in better understanding how performance appraisals might be modified and better leveraged to improve personnel processes.
