Congratulations to Erin McMeniman for being selected as PADP’s January MPA Student of the Month!

Erin is in her second year in the MPA program. She is a very hardworking individual who strives to elevate everyone around her. She helps facilitate discussions in class and works well individually and in group settings. Erin also interns with Downtown Ministries (DTM) in Athens as part of her internship requirement. With a deep passion and love for sports and for helping others, Erin aspires to use sports and her knowledge about inequalities and social issues, as a vessel to help develop communities and make community members feel heard, seen, and valued. While pursuing her masters, Erin is also a graduate assistant, an active member of The Georgia Way L.E.A.D Program, and an NCAA National qualifier on UGA’s track and field team. Erin is grateful for all the support she has received from the MPA program, classmates, DTM, teammates, coaches, the athletic department, and the whole UGA community that has been making her time here so special.
