Gary Martin
Anticipated graduation: Spring 2024
Anticipated degree: Master of International Policy
Previous degree: B.A. Political Science & Religion | Baylor University
Gary Martin is interested in Middle East Studies, Turkish and Greek Relations. He is interested in working in national.
Gary has previously worked as a Policy Intern for the Bureau of Industry and Security where he analyzed what countries are helping to backfill Russian semiconductors.

Sofia Mohamed
Anticipated graduation: Spring 2024
Anticipated degree: B.A. in International Affairs
2022-2023 SLP Cohort
Sofia is interested in the intersection of global health and human security. She is seeking a career that focuses on immigration, law, and humanitarian work. Although, she is open to exploring different fields within the realm of security.
At the University of Georgia, she is involved in Model UN, Dean William Tate Honor Society, and Muslim Student Association, where she is the Student Outreach Chair. Outside UGA, she has interned and volunteered with organizations such as, Young Georgians for Justice Coalition and Jon Ossoff for US Senate. This year, she has worked for the SPIA Survey Research Center as a Student Interviewer and interned with Groundbreakers, a non-profit global leadership network, as a Racial Equity Associate. She is currently interning with Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
Sydney Brashears
Anticipated graduation: Spring 2024
Anticipated degree: Master of International Policy
Previous degree: B.A. in Psychology and Political Science | Auburn University
Sydney is interested in national security, cyber security, and intelligence analysis.
Sydney is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for International Trade and Security, and is working for Noblis.

Rosemary Osbon
Anticipated graduation: Spring 2024
Anticipated degree: Master of International Policy
Previous degree: B.A. in International Affairs | UGA
Rosemary is interested in defense policy specifically regrading nuclear security. She hopes to make her career international and do work with the AUKUS agreement.
Previously, Rosemary has worked in government affairs at the federal and state level. She has experience leading and managing a state house campaign to victory and working in the Georgia state capitol during the legislative session. Further, she has worked on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. for the ranking member of defense appropriations. Most recently she worked for a defense contractor and learned more about the shipbuilding industry. Her education in international affairs combined with her work experience in defense has made her career interest in working with the AUKUS trilateral security agreement.

Feben Teshome
Anticipated graduation: Spring 2024
Anticipated degree: B.A. in International Affairs with a Minor in African Studies

Feben is interested in international trade, peace and security, and education upskilling.
Feben’s previous work experience includes, Virtual Student Federal Service intern at STAS office in the Department of State, Public service intern at Mayor of Atlanta’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs, and Professional Development intern at International Baccalaureate.

Hayley Worsfold
Anticipated graduation: Spring 2024
Anticipated degree: Master of International Policy
Previous degree: B.A. in International Affairs | UGA
Hayley’s research interests are in international law, advanced nuclear reactors, nuclear waste management, artificial intelligence regulations, and export controls. She hopes to pursue a career in energy policy focused on nonproliferation and nuclear regulatory analysis.
Hayley is currently a Graduate Research Assistant for the Center for International Trade and Security. Previously she has worked as an SRNL ASPIRE Student Intern for Battelle Savannah River Alliance, LLC; and been a Participant in the 2023 Nuclear Nonproliferation, Safeguards, and Security in the 21st Century Course.

Daniel Klein

Anticipated degree: B.A. in International Affairs

Daniel is interested in public opinion and foreign policy, civilian casualties, acceptance of international norms, and human security.
