Olivia Humble graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Psychology (Neuroscience Emphasis) and Sociology, along with minors in Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Gerontology. Through the Double Dawgs Program, she continued into the Master of Public Administration, where she completed graduate-level coursework in statistical analysis, constitutional law, and nonprofit finance—applying those skills directly to her leadership in local government and nonprofit development.
During her time in the MPA program, Olivia completed her internship with Murray County Government in her hometown of Chatsworth, Georgia. During the internship, she attended local and regional governing meetings, she revised personnel policies, anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies, contributed to FLOST education, and helped make local tax policy more accessible and understandable to residents. Her work focused on translating complex topics into clear, community-rooted messaging that supported civic engagement and public trust.
Olivia was also invited to join the Board of Directors for The Miracle League of Murray County, a nonprofit dedicated to building an adaptive baseball field and inclusive recreational programming for children and adults with disabilities. She is currently helping lead the organization through IRS 501(c)(3) formation, Georgia compliance, board development, donor cultivation, and strategic planning. Olivia is especially proud of the donor tiers and outreach materials she designed to reflect Murray County’s baseball heritage and civic pride. She is actively preparing for the organization’s first major fundraiser in 2026.
Outside of class, Olivia can be found making creative—and occasionally random—requests for her Social Media Digital Dawg Ambassador account, @uga.olivia, where she highlights student life, public service, and the behind-the-scenes moments that make the MPA experience memorable. Through this role, she combines strategy with storytelling, connecting prospective students, alumni, and the broader UGA and Athens community.
Olivia is deeply committed to supporting underserved communities and creating equitable experiences through inclusive planning, strategic partnerships, and sustainable development. After graduation, she plans to continue building community-driven projects that empower residents and promote long-term stewardship. Her goal is to lead with transparency, empathy, and a deep respect for the people she serves.
