Master of Public Administration (MPA)
When she was a freshman, she entered the SWUFE Student Press Corp and interviewed a National Scholarship recipient who had being a volunteer teacher. She was deeply touched by the volunteer story, and thought that adding value into other people’s life might also be a career for her to pursue. Since then, she participated in volunteer programs actively, such as becoming a orientation volunteer of SWUFE in 2018, in which she was awarded as Outstanding Volunteer. Afterwards, she decided to focus on public services that could improve social welfare instead of helping specific individuals. She obtained her first internship at Sichuan Haihui Poverty Alleviation Service Center, where she developed a firm understanding of the logic in nonprofit administration. Working as a public relations assistant, she produced appropriate content to help the public understand philanthropic projects and attract potential donors. In summer 2019, she participated in a field research initiated by Survey and Research Center for China Household Finance, where she was adwarded as Outstanding Correspondent. As a team member of nine to conduct interviews among 300+ families in rural areas, she observed that still underprivileged people suffering deep inequality, and decided to pursue a master degree in public administration. After becoming a junior, she took over as director of the editorial committee in Student Press Corp. In october 2020, she was honored as Outstanding Student Leader. After graduated from SWUFE in 2021, she started her application and have been admitted to the MPA program of UGA.
