Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Michael grew up in Marietta, GA and attended Lassiter High School. He then went on to attend the University of Georgia for his undergraduate degree in Speech Communication in 2003. After college Michael began working for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. He worked his way to Area manager with many promotions along the way eventually ending up in Louisville, KY. In 2018 Michael decided to make a career change to move back to Atlanta. In 2020 he began working for the City of Lawrenceville as the Fleet Director. Michael has been with the City of Lawrenceville since that time. Michael enjoys his family, sports (especially Georgia football), and traveling. Michael has been married to his wife Meg since 2007 and has a son Brady who is in the special needs program in Gwinnett County Schools. Brady is a boy scout and has been in scouts since the 1st grade. Michael is also a board member for the Gwinnett County Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta.
