Master of International Policy (MIP)

Maggie is a recently graduated Double Dawg currently on track for her masters degree with CITS. She is interested in international development and the ways that energy, trade, and human security affect social and economic development.

More About

Maggie was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She attended a local high school and graduated at the top of her class with more than 40 hours of college credit under her belt. Maggie took advantage of her accelerated plan of study and was able to graduate with two bachelor degrees in only three years. She is now continuing at UGA through the Double Dawg program to earn a Master in International Policy. She is set to complete her degree in December 2024 after which she hopes to move to Washington, D.C. to pursue a career in international security. When Maggie is not working she enjoys hiking, binge-watching sit-coms, and reading. She is also an avid Bulldogs fan and loves to cheer on the football team every Saturday in the fall.

Her legal name is Margaretha, but she goes by Maggie 99% of the time.

Honors, Awards, and Achievements

Graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Georgia with a 3.93 GPA. Awarded the UGA Presidential Award of Excellence in 2023.
