More About

Landry is a Dallas, Texas native and recently moved to Athens to pursue her graduate degree. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a cumulative 4.0 GPA in the spring of 2023 with minors in Geography, Psychology, and Child Advocacy Studies. While attending the University of Arkansas, Landry participated in a multitude of activities, including the Razorback Marching Band Colorguard, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, and Psi Chi Psychology International Honor Society. She also served as the Vice President of Lambda Alpha Epsilon for two years. Landry interned at the Terrorism Research Center during her time in Arkansas, working on the Bias Homicide federal database. In the summer of 2022, Landry completed the National Forensic Academy Collegiate Program. This three-week long course is modeled after the ten-week course used to train and certify law enforcement officers in forensic measures. This class, hosted by the University of Tennessee-Martin in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, taught Landry how to properly conduct forensic research and complete cases needing forensic expertise. When Landry is not conducting research or studying, she enjoys teaching colorguard to her students and performing in independent professional colorguard groups. She was the head director of a program in Arkansas and has worked with several other groups in both Arkansas and Texas. Landry has been a colorguard performer since 2016 and hopes to continue during her time in Athens. Landry also enjoys working with children and has been a childcare provider for over ten years, working as a babysitter and preschool teacher.
