Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Katherine Monroy is a Doubledawg student, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Administration. She is also a first-generation college student and a first-generation Mexican American. Katherine has worked with the J.W. Institute of Leadership Development as a student assistant. She currently works with the Archway Partnership Program as a student intern connecting Georgia resources to her hometown in Moultrie, Georgia. In her role, she supervises an Institute of Leadership Advancement team to create awareness resources for scholarships available to high school students. Katherine is interested in youth leadership development. In her own time, she has created multiple resources for high schoolers in her hometown. She has presented college preparedness and high school success to students aged 14 to 18. She hopes to provide high school students with advice, guidance, and mentorship. Katherine is interested in pursuing a career in city management.
