Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Brian is a second-year Master of Public Administration student from Statesboro, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During his undergraduate career, he had the opportunity to engage the Athens community and participate in student organizations on campus. He volunteered at the Oasis Católico Santa Rafaela where he provided tutoring for children from Pre-K through fifth grade. On campus, he was a founding member of Common Ground–a bipartisan politics club that seeks to find common ground through weekly discussions and debates. In addition, Brian has gained experience working in politics. He completed an internship with a state house campaign where he executed key grassroots tasks. Most recently, he worked for a voter registration organization where he assisted with voter registration and engagement. Brian plans to use his undergraduate experience, as well as the knowledge and skills gained from the MPA program, to pursue a career in local government.
