Film Screening – Tupinambá: The Return of the Land

“Tupinambá: The Return of the Land” tells the story of the Tupinambá, an indigenous group in the south of Bahia (Brazil), and their struggle to take back their land. In the film, the history of expropriation and resistance of the Tupinambá is narrated from their perspective. For them, the land belongs to the encantados, the most important entities of their cosmology.
