The Department of Public Administration & Policy is excited to announce that we are teaming up with Extra Special People (ESP), Inc. for our January Nonprofit of the Month!
ESP creates opportunities for people with disabilities and their families to engage, connect, and thrive through 8 weeks of summer camp, 19 after school enrichment programs, and ongoing family support. Serving more than 400 participants and families from more than 30 counties in Georgia, they rely on our amazing community to help them never turn any family away.
Please help us support this wonderful charity by supporting their pageant and show: Big Hearts.
This is their largest event of the year. it will be on Saturday, February 9th. Everyone is welcome to be part of this magical night!
This is how ESP describes this incredible event:
Big Hearts is a night where our participants shine on stage at the Classic Center, sharing their talents and abilities with our community through a pageant and show. This event provides much-needed funds for our summer camp program, ensuring every individual can access camp no matter their finances. There are two great ways you can help us reach our Big Hearts goals and support our amazing participants:
- Sign up to volunteer! Big Hearts is a large production and we rely on hundreds of volunteers to make it possible. Sign up HERE to help us provide this magical night to our participants and families.
- Join us for the show! We promise you will have an incredible time as an attendee to the show – you will laugh, cry, and everything in between while showing our participants how much they are loved by this community. Tickets are just $18 through the Classic Center Box Office, or $15 if you gather a group of 10 friends, and can be purchased HERE. The past few years we have sold-out the 2,000 seat theatre, and need people like YOU to help us do it again!
