Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Whitford for winning the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) National 2016 SPAR Book of the Year Award for his book titled Above the Politics: Bureaucratic Discretion and Credible Commitment. Dr. Whitford will be given the award at the ASPA conference in Atlanta next week. He also won the Herbert Simon Award for 2017, and he will be presenting on April 7th at the annual meeting of the Midwest Political Science Association in Chicago, IL.
