Congratulations to Cammie Chavez for being selected as Public Administration and Policy’s December MPA Student of the Month!

Cammie is in her final semester of the MPA program, specializing in nonprofit administration. With a passion for nonprofits, she is pursuing a career in nonprofit development and aims to ensure these organizations have the necessary resources to achieve their mission and goals. This fall, she enjoyed serving as a Development Intern for the Athens Area Humane Society and gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor relations. In October, she accepted the position of Resource Development Associate with Skagit Habitat for Humanity in Washington State and will be relocating in the new year to begin her nonprofit career. She accredits these accomplishments to her development within the MPA program, especially through classes with Dr. Nesbit and Dr. Prittie.

Congratulations on this and on graduating this December, Cammie! We look forward to seeing all great things you will accomplish in your new position with Habitat!
