Congratulations to DeRenne Raley for being selected as Public Administration and Policy’s MPA Student of the Month!

DeRenne is a Master of Public Administration student at the University of Georgia studying public policy and nonprofit management. As a Double Dawg, DeRenne graduated from UGA in May 2019 with her bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Affairs. She enrolled in the MPA program because she is passionate about public service and making an impact in the community. During her time as an MPA student, DeRenne has balanced multiple internships as well as MPA coursework. She has had internships at The Carter Center and Extra Special People Inc., where she currently works in a development and communications role in the Java Joy program. DeRenne is grateful for her time as an MPA student and for her professors who have inspired her along the way. Upon graduating this month, DeRenne hopes to begin her career in a public policy or nonprofit management role. She is a compassionate and highly motivated individual, and we are we are looking forward to hearing about all of the things she accomplishes in the future!
