On March 22, Dr. Seema Gahlaut spoke at a conference in Mexico City entitled “National Workshop on Export Control & Licensing for the Detection & Prevention of Illegal Traffic of Radioactive & Nuclear Material, & Dual Use Goods.” The conference was convened by the Organization of American States (OAS) with the support of the Government of Canada. Dr. Gahlaut spoke about the implementation of strategic trade management practices as a part of states compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 1540.
