A recent study done by Erasmus University in the Netherlands ranked The University of Georgia as the top university in public administration scholarship. The study used five different scales to measure journal impact and journal reputation from the years 2009-2013. The University of Georgia ranked first on all five scales. Though contributions were made by the whole university, a majority of the contributions were made by the faculty of the Department of Public Administration and Policy in the School of Public and International Affairs.
