PADP Hosts First Annual NASPAA Policy Competition

The Department of Public Administration and Policy hosted the first annual NASPAA Student Simulation Competition on Saturday, February 28, 2015. The University of Georgia was one of six regional sites holding simultaneous competitions across the country. The competition was open to all graduate students at NASPAA schools. Teams were comprised of three to four students from different schools. Two students from the Department of Public Administration participated in the event. Dr. Deborah Carroll emcee’d the event and NASPAA President Dr. Ed Kellough gave the opening remarks. Dean Stefanie Lindquist mingled with participants during a networking event that took place following the competition. The winners of the regional event will go on to be judged against all of the regional winners.
