Nicholas is currently completing his final semester of the MPA program, where he is specializing in Nonprofit Administration. Upon graduating from the MPA program in Fall 2023, his goal is to help design and evaluate programs and services for religious nonprofits.

After developing a lifelong passion for politics and government, Nicholas ultimately decided to pursue a career in public service when he had the opportunity to meet former U.S. President Jimmy Carter in September 2018. In December 2020, Nicholas graduated cum laude from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. While pursuing his bachelor’s degree, Nicholas worked full-time at a local municipal government, with this experience helping mold his understanding and application of servant leadership. He subsequently began his MPA degree full-time at the University of Georgia in Fall 2021, and has greatly enjoyed his experience at UGA, including his MPA coursework, professors, and celebrating two national championships. Go Dawgs!

In Spring 2023, Nicholas had the opportunity to intern for the Human Resources department at Catholic Charities Atlanta (CCA). Nicholas greatly benefited from his internship at CCA, both because of the experience he gained while working in a nonprofit, as well as the lifelong friends he made at CCA.

Outside of his studies at UGA, Nicholas is an active Rotarian in his hometown of Loganville, a Knight of Columbus, and a former officer in his local Toastmasters club. He also became a lifelong member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honor society for public administration students, in May 2023.
