Public Administration and Policy would like to congratulate Josh Warren for being selected as MPA Student of the Month for October!

Josh Warren is an MPA student at UGA in his third and final year. His GPA is currently 3.97, with only three classes standing between him and graduation in May 2020. While taking classes part-time, Josh is employed full-time at UGA as a Human Resources Senior Managing Consultant for Training and Development. While there are many aspects of his job that he enjoys, working with employees from departments all across campus is a highlight! In addition to work and class, Josh is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honor society for students in public affairs. He has also spent two years serving on the executive board for the UGA International City and County Managers Association (ICMA) Student chapter, first as the finance chair, and currently as the marketing chair. He is passionate about public service, leadership, human resources, and local government.

Prior to his time at UGA, Josh attended Columbus State University (CSU) where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and played on the university baseball team. He spent time traveling to Auburn University, where his high school sweetheart was completing her degree in child-life therapy. He is a Georgia native who has lived across the country, but is happy putting down roots in Athens with his wife, Lindsey, his five-month old daughter, MaryHampton, and their dog, Cali.
