Congratulations to Dr. Robert Greer, recipient of the Summer Innovative Instruction Grant for his proposal: “Case-Based Active Learning Strategies for Public Budgeting and Finance”. The annual grant funds the improvement of teaching and learning techniques through innovative class redesigns and pedagogical strategies. Dr. Greer proposes creating case studies and in-class activities based in real world public financial issues in order to transition from standard textbook based courses to a more interactive classroom.
