CITS/UGA cooperation heralded by Indonesia at Nuclear Security Summit

The ongoing cooperation between the Center for International Trade & Security and the Indonesia National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN) was heralded at the recent Nuclear Security Summit in Washington DC. One expert and longtime partner from BATAN, Mr. Khairul, also participated in the parallel Nuclear Industry Summit. CITS Distinguished Fellow Dr. Igor Khripunov has worked with BATAN over the past decade to help establish a proactive base of nuclear security culture knowledge in Indonesia, conducting wide outreach to the region as a whole on nuclear security and nuclear security culture
