CITS engages nuclear agencies in Indonesia

CITS hosted a roundtable on the Development of National Regulatory Guidance for Nuclear Security Culture in Serpong, Indonesia on September 29-30, 2015. The roundtable brought together the key nuclear agencies of Indonesia (BAPETEN AND BATAN) to outline regulatory guidelines on nuclear security culture self-assessment and enhancement.  The final text of the outline will be submitted for review to the IAEA and shared with the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit. Top and mid-managers from both BATAN and BAPETEN as well as participants in earlier self-assessment projects in Indonesia and international experts all participated.  The event was supported by the IAEA and the US Department of State Partnership for Nuclear Security (PNS).
