Best Study Spots On and Off Campus

With its welcoming ambience and convenient caffeine, the Miller Learning Center stands as one of the most popular places to study on campus. Silent upper-floor corners, group study rooms, and the Jittery Joe’s downstairs make it a reliable destination for a productive, coffee-fueled work session. But, with exam season approaching, discovering new study spots is more important than ever before! The Main Library provides quiet reading rooms and tucked-away carrels perfect for deep focus and seclusion. Its multiple floors each offer something unique, like silent study rooms and hidden desks surrounded by shelfing. Additionally, the Law Library’s high ceilings and soft seating create a calm environment that supports long hours of reading and writing. With its large windows, the Law Library provides natural lighting and sunlight during the day, two qualities that are scientifically proven to help you study better.

Off campus, Athens has equally strong options. Buvez on Barber Street has both indoor seating and a relaxed outdoor patio, which makes it perfect for studying with friends or completing group projects. Hendershot’s in Bottleworks is another favorite, known for its laid-back atmosphere that helps ideas flow without distraction, and amazing food menu for a mid-study pick me up.
