Congratulations to Caleb Bagley for being selected as January MPA Student of the Month!
Caleb J. Bagley is in his final semester of the MPA program at the University of Georgia, where he has developed a strong foundation in public administration and community development. Passionate about enhancing rural areas, he earned a B.S. in Rural Community Development from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and has since built a range of academic and professional experiences during his time at UGA. As a Graduate Assistant at the Special Collections Libraries, Caleb develops K-12 resources that align with state curriculum standards, enhancing educational outreach efforts. He has also gained hands-on experience through internships with the City of Madison, where he worked as a Human Resources Analyst, and with Downtown Ministries, where he supported youth development and community engagement initiatives. During his time in the program, one of Caleb’s most impactful courses, Intergovernmental Relations, has equipped him with a deeper understanding of how different levels of government interact to address community needs and what tools are at their discretion. As President of Georgia Students for Public Administration, Caleb has enjoyed serving as a voice for students, facilitating communication with faculty, and organizing events that enhance the student experience. After graduating in May 2025, Caleb plans to attend law school to broaden his perspective on policy and governance while continuing his commitment to rural advocacy and public service.
