SPIA alumnus Ben Brunjes reviewed the new political science book Citizen Participation in the Age of Contracting: When Service Delivery Trumps Democracy by Anna Amirkhanyan and Kristina Lambright in his Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory article, “Bolstering Democracy or Illustrating Performance? Contracting Out Public Participation.”
Ben received his PhD from University of Georgia in 2017 with Public Administration & Policy professor Larry O’Toole as his major professor and mentor. Ben’s review is available here, in the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.
