Oak Ridge National Laboratory student trip

In March 2014, fifteen students from the Masters of International Policy and Doctorate in International Affairs programs, accompanied by the director and staff of the Center for International Trade and Security, traveled to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Tennessee for two days of classes on nuclear security and hands-on exercises with radiation detectors. The students met with officials from the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management and ORNL, toured a graphite reactor that was built as part of the Manhattan Project, and visited the Y-12 National Security Complex.
