Jay is a Ph.D. candidate studying the relations of cyber security and international investment. Jay also studies Chinese politics, especially the decision-making process in their foreign and security policy.

Jay is a Fulbright scholar and worked for GLOBIS during 2022-2023. Jay’s idea about the ontology-based database was patented in Korea in 2023. (No. 10-2020-0152847, entitled “Method for Constructing a Database Based on Ontology, Method for Responding to a User Query Using the Database, and System in Which the Methods are Implemented”) Jay enjoys spending time with friends and family including her doggie, named Genie for a variety of activities.
