Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Aaliyah Brooks is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a proud alumna of Central State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. During her time at Central State, she was consistently recognized as Deans List Scholar and served as a Residence Advisor. She also held leadership roles in multiple on-campus organizations, was a member of the NAACP and the Pre-Law Society, and served as a mentor for young women on campus. Additionally, Aaliyah was a part of the Honor College and became a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honors Society. Service, strong values, and guiding principle are fundamental to Aaliyah’s character, leading her passion for public service. She is currently pursing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Georgia, where she aims to further develop her skills in hopes of making a positive impact on her community.

Career Goals

After completing my MPA I plan to pursue a legal career by attending law school and becoming an attorney. In addition, I plan to stay committed to staying actively involved in my community by assisting with local programs and organizations. I hope to be able to combine my legal skills and dedication to public service to uplift, support, and make a lasting impact my community.
