Kathleen was born and raised in South Carolina and moved a state over to study at UGA. She attended Furman University for her undergraduate. In her free time, she loves reading fantasy, following collegiate cheerleading, and CrossFit.

As an undergrad, Kathleen had the opportunity to present some of her research at the South Carolina Political Science Association annual conference.
