Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Jett Zenthoefer is originally from Centennial, Colorado, and attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa for his undergraduate studies. Having graduated in 2024, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics. In addition to his undergraduate degrees, Jett earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Peace Studies and a Peace Corps Prep Certificate to further focus his area of study.
For the last two years of his undergraduate studies, Jett was selected as one of the Shidler College of Business Global Leaders, a scholarship group chosen for travel awards to study abroad and complete tuition coverage. Members are responsible for completing 20 hours of community service per semester, undergoing multiple professional skills mentorships, and serving in leadership positions in the Shidler College of Business student organizations.
After studying abroad in London from 2022 to 2023, Jett was elected President of the University of Hawaiʻi International Business Organization. During this time, he gained experience in hosting large events with top business professionals, working with and helping find opportunities for international students, and learning about the administrative processes of the university’s Study Abroad Center.
Outside of his direct university studies, Jett took part in a semester-long mentorship under the then-president of the East-West Center, where he learned about navigating non-profit relationships between organizations in the Asia-Pacific region and best practices for functioning in multicultural environments. This experience provided him with the opportunity to attend and speak at an International Student Peace Summit in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan, as well as participate in several programs run by the United States Institute of Peace to discuss international relationships between countries in Southeast and East Asia.
Following these experiences, Jett developed a passion for connecting with students and working in higher education, which he is currently pursuing through the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Georgia.
