Guy was born in Marietta, Georgia, raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is a proud graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He currently serves as an active duty Air Force officer and pilot. Guy’s career began in the C-17 Globemaster III where he served as instructor, flight commander, and executive officer. During this period, he was stationed in Hungary where he flew the C-17 as a part of a NATO contingent and completed his MA in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma. His most recent assignment at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland culminated in serving as the Director of Flight Line Protocol and C-32 Aircraft Commander. His duties included providing global executive airlift for the Vice President of the United States, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and First Lady. Guy was selected in an Air Force-wide program to pursue his doctorate and will serve as an Assistant Professor at the United States Air Force Academy upon graduation.
