Created in 2001, the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) boasts award-winning faculty and students, and is consistently ranked among the top 10 public affairs graduate schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. We seek to recognize our past achievements, but we also look to the challenges of the future. SPIA contributes to a better world through cutting-edge research on domestic and international policy and politics, and through teaching and mentoring the next generation of leaders in public service. Private funding is essential to sustain a high level of educational excellence at SPIA. We ask our proud alumni, donors and friends to contribute to SPIA in support of our outstanding educational and research efforts.
To sustain innovative academic programs for the next generation, SPIA relies heavily on the support of private donors. Your gifts provide direct support for students and faculty, programs and research, and facilities that advance our mission. Every gift and commitment of support has an immediate and lasting impact! There are a number of ways to make a financial gift to the School.
- If you would like to commemorate Emeritus Dean Tom Lauth‘s life and legacy by making a gift in his honor, donations may be directed to the Thomas P. and M. Jean Lauth Graduate Fellowship Fund which provides private support to enhance a state-funded graduate assistantship at SPIA.
