Brittany Bramlett received her doctorate in the spring of 2012 from the University of Maryland, College Park. She taught as an Assistant Professor at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania for 2 years before coming to the University of Georgia.

Brittany’s doctoral research considered age as a contextual factor capable of influencing individual political attitudes and behaviors. Her book on the subject, Senior Power or Senior Peril: Aged Communities and American Society in the Twenty-First Century, will be released early 2015. Her research interests include age and politics, contextual effects, religion and politics, and journal publishing transparency. She enjoys teaching American politics, political behavior, research methods, and urban politics. Dr. Bramlett is also passionate about connecting undergraduate students with government-related internships.
