Claire Thielens studied Political Science and English Literature in Seattle University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with departmental honors in English. She participated in University Honors specializing in Society, Policy, and Citizenship. Her research focus was on how history, literature, and philosophy contributed to a holistic approach to policy development. Claire was also an Undergraduate Research Assistant who studied feminist political theory and the American judiciary. She produced over two dozen short articles in this role covering relevant case law, legal history, feminist literature, and more.
