Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Alice Hayes is a Master of Public Administration candidate at the University of Georgia. Alongside her studies, Alice serves as the Legal Administrative Specialist in the University of Georgia School of Law’s Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation (CEASE) Clinic, First Amendment Clinic, and Land Conservation Clinic. In this role, she conducts intake screenings, provides records and case management support, supports clinic event planning, and handles logistics and budget processing.
Prior to joining the law school, Hayes was a Victim Advocate in the Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office. In this role she provided guidance, support, referrals, and crisis counseling to victims of crime throughout the court process, including post-adjudication. Hayes has over twelve years’ experience in the legal field, having previously worked as a court clerk and legal secretary/paralegal.
Hayes is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, with a Bachelor’s degree in History. Her academic interests include nonprofit management, local and state government, victim services, and landlord-tenant law, specifically tenant advocacy. In her spare time, she enjoys embroidery, baking, sewing, interior design, volunteering in the local community, and spending time with family and friends.
