Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Administration

Juan Pablo is a Ph.D. student interested in public bureaucracies, civil service reform, executive politics, and comparative public administration. Juan Pablo previously worked as a political advisor in the Senate of the Republic of Colombia and as a lecturer and researcher in public administration and public policy at the University of Chile and the O´Higgins State University. Juan Pablo also has experience as an academic coordinator of the undergraduate program in Public Administration at the University of Chile. Juan Pablo has participated in different research projects funded by the National Research Agency of Chile in topics such as public ethics, public-private partnerships, public sector reform, representative bureaucracy, and historical analysis of public policies. Juan Pablo earned his Bachelor in Government and Master of Arts in Political Science (highest honors) at the University of Chile. He also earned the Fulbright and Becas Chile scholarships to pursue his Ph.D. program.
