Genesis is a second year Master of International Policy student. She is interested in being a part of the groundbreaking solutions to several world issues such as security, terrorism, and global collaborations.

Genesis hails from the small but prosperous city of Warner Robins, GA. She obtained a Bachelor of the Arts from Fort Valley State University, the #1 Public Historically Black College/University in the state of Georgia. During her time there, she served as the 2023-2024 Student Government Association President. She was a member of the University System of Georgia’s Student Advisory Council where she often advocated for the needs of students at the State level. She conducted award-winning research as part of the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program, discussing the socioeconomic impact of Georgia Senate Bill 202 on minority communities. She also served as a Campus Vote Project Democracy Fellow for the state of Georgia, promoting civic engagement and voter awareness within the Middle Georgia region for four years. Genesis is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, having served as the 2023-2024 Anti-Basileus for the Zeta Pi Chapter. Overall, her experiences have influenced her decision to earn a Master of International Policy from the University of Georgia where she plans to continue to advocate for the needs and rights of others worldwide.
