Abbey graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia and is a distinguished member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. Her commitment to service is evidenced by her volunteer work as a tutor at Oasis Tutors and active involvement with refugee resettlement non-profits, where she has played a crucial role in supporting and empowering displaced individuals. Abbey gained invaluable experience through an internship at the Cobb County Superior Court, which fostered her passion for law and policy. Her global perspective was further enriched by studying abroad in Florence, Italy, where she deepened her understanding of international issues. Leadership roles in church, campus ministries, and her sorority underscore her dedication to community service and organizational leadership. As a member of the Student Alumni Council’s Philanthropy and Traditions committees, Abbey has been instrumental in coordinating impactful initiatives and fostering connections within the community. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, golfing, reading, traveling, and journaling. Driven by a passion for nonprofit work and community development, she is committed to helping organizations achieve their objectives of supporting local communities and addressing significant challenges, with the ultimate goal of leaving a lasting positive impact.
