Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Aaliyah Brooks is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Central State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her undergrad years, she was recognized as a Dean’s List Scholar and was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society.

Her passion for public service led to diverse experiences, from interning at the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office , where she gained insight into the legal system, to working with Easter Seals on inclusive art programs for individuals with disabilities. She also contributed to service through her internship at Downtown Ministries where she supported programs for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Aaliyah is now pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Georgia, where she is committed to developing her skills to make a further impact.

Career Goals

After completing my MPA I plan to pursue a legal career by attending law school and becoming an attorney. In addition, I plan to stay committed to staying actively involved in my community by assisting with local programs and organizations. I hope to be able to combine my legal skills and dedication to public service to uplift, support, and make a lasting impact my community.
