UGA’s Master of International Policy (MIP) is the School of Public and International Affairs’ professional graduate program offering concentrations in nonproliferation, human security, and energy security. The program is dedicated to preparing a select group of thoughtful students for careers across a range of US government agencies, international organizations, nonprofits, think tanks, and consultancies.

The MIP’s distinct applied, policy-oriented approach combines instruction from leading international relations scholars and security experts and is enhanced by interaction with government and industry leaders and a variety of experiential opportunities. Applicants admitted to the MIP program join a community of loyal alumni, current and former policy practitioners, and faculty and staff dedicated to the professional development of future security-policy leaders.

The PhD program in public administration and policy at the University of Georgia is designed to prepare students for leading careers in teaching, research, and public service.
