Stacy Jones is the Director of the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel, a public service and outreach unit of The University of Georgia that enriches the lives of generations of learners and produces lasting impact through outstanding educational programs and services.

Recently, Stacy was associate director of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government’s Governmental Training, Education, and Development Division. Also a public service and outreach unit of The University of Georgia, created to share in the university’s overarching public service mission of extending our resources of professional knowledge and expertise to help communities improve their quality of life.

Prior to joining the University of Georgia, Stacy worked for the City of Conyers, the Monroe Downtown Development Authority, Health Management Associates (NYSE: HMA), and a technology services provider for local governments. Stacy has served for over six years at the Institute of Government.
