Nonresident Fellow
Anna J Davis (née Davidson) is a DPhil (PhD) Researcher and Teaching Associate at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. She is an alumna of the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia where she majored in International Affairs with a minor in Russian language; she also was a participant in the UGA at Oxford Programme for two terms in Spring and Fall 2017. At Oxford, Anna recently submitted her doctoral thesis on how international identity in Ukraine, Belarus, and Armenia is developed through civil nuclear energy relationships with Russia. She is currently working on a project exploring Post-Soviet Arctic state identities as a Grímsson Fellow with the Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson Center and the Arctic Circle Secretariat. She has previously provided consulting for NATO on maritime security in the Black Sea.
