Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Zachary Thoman is a first-year Master of Public Administration student at the University of Georgia. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from UGA and has interned with the Georgia Governor’s Office of Health Strategy and Coordination and the Georgia Department of Public Health as a legislative analyst, gaining hands-on experience in health policy development and legislative affairs. He has conducted policy research on Medicaid 1115 waivers, presenting findings to senior state leadership, and has held student leadership positions. Zachary plans to pursue a career in state government, focusing on improving the accessibility and efficiency of public services.
