Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Tabitha is a Master of Public Administration student as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia. After graduating summa cum laude with her B.A. in Political Science at Kent State University, she moved to Athens to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree. Tabitha understands the importance of harnessing the political agency of communities to procure a better living experience for all, and she hopes to utilize these skills, as well as the skills she learns during her time at UGA, to help the people around her. Tabitha graduated from the University of Akron in 2018 with an Associate of Arts. She then attended Kent State University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2019.

Specialization: Generalist

Career Goals:
After obtaining her Master of Public Administration at UGA, Tabitha hopes to work for a nonprofit/grassroots organization where she can help the people around her. She ultimately wants to focus her efforts on sex workers’ rights, though she understands that there are several intersections of marginalized communities with the sex working community, so she is happy to work in any harm reductionist, mutual aid, and/or organizing venue.

Relevant Work Experience:
Tabitha is proud to have experience with political campaigns and mentoring programs. She was a student mentor for two years while pursuing her Associate of Arts, was an intern for the Randi Clites for Ohio State House campaign, and held a position as a Voter Outreach and Social Media Manager for Senator Mike Gravel’s presidential campaign in 2019.
